Animal Communication Purpose

The Gift I Tried to Hide

How fear of judgment led me away from my true path.

Five years ago I stopped doing something that brought me joy. Not only that, it helped people find answers, heal, and have peace of mind. I’m referring to animal communication.

It happened because I felt triggered by other people’s questions, comments, and beliefs. And it’s a shame, because it’s an awesome tool.

Tuning into animals that are either alive or in spirit is helpful in many ways. We can understand our animals better and not only help them, but help ourselves too.

And when animal communication is combined with other tools, it works in an awesome, holistic way in our lives as animal lovers. Now, let’s get back to the story.

It’s been over 20 years since I started down the path of doing healing work. During that time, it was a process of diving deeper into my own intuition as the years went by.

I was using transformational life coaching and hypnotherapy, including guided meditation techniques, for a long time. But when COVID began, there was a sudden shift.

There was a feeling I had that “if we’re all going to die anyway, I might as well do something extraordinary that involves animals, and dive into animal communication.” Because animals had always been the guiding force in my life, and I felt the call to work with them on a deeper level.

COVID stripped away any inhibitions I had around being my true self. Many people were caught up in the trauma of the time, so I began to hide out with horses and tune in more deeply.

Then I began to work online, and I offered animal communication sessions and taught it as well. But after a while, I was met with people who weren’t true animal lovers, in addition to skepticism and a feeling like I was being judged.

It involved clients who wanted me to make an animal do something for selfish reasons, such as “can you make my horse run faster so I can win the race?” There were other requests too, that weren’t my true focus of helping both animals and humans on a deep level.

A man who was a skeptic booked a session with me because he wanted to “test” my abilities and see how accurate I was. (I felt like I was being examined under a microscope.)

And when I moved to a new area, I was greeted with belief systems that were based on various religions. I believed that what I was doing was “God’s work”, but sometimes religious beliefs lead people to think that your work is not from the light, but from the dark. (However, I knew the truth.)

Someone from the local Chamber of Commerce even suggested that I avoid talking about animal communication because it wasn’t likely to be accepted in the community. And the key word was “accepted”, which is what I wanted in my heart, so I denied the truth of who I really was so I could “fit in”.

But the naysayers didn’t understand the spiritual aspect of why I was doing what I was doing. Because I knew that the core transformation was deep for the humans and their animals. (I knew in my heart that my work was a soul-level transformation.)

So I shut the door to the animal communication chapter, made chocolates for a while, and felt “comfortably uncomfortable” fitting in. It lasted for a couple of years, until I knew that I needed to get back to healing work.

At first I focused on narcissistic relationship recovery – something I had helped others with before. After all, it was something that I was unfortunately very familiar with.

But deep down, I felt that calling back to animal communication. And yet I still danced around who I was, and tried to word my work in a way that sounded more palatable. But that became uncomfortable too.

When the discomfort of not being yourself gets to a level to where it’s intolerable, then you finally have to break through to being authentically you.

And that’s where I am now. Because I’m an animal communicator, intuitive guide (helping others to have an aligned breakthrough), and someone who has embraced being who I am, whether that bothers other people or not.

The truth is that in the end, being out of alignment feels more uncomfortable than trying to fit in. Everyone has different beliefs, and we’re never going to make everyone happy.

As sensitive animal lovers, it’s easy to fall into the trap of people pleasing, because it also helps us to feel better when we make others feel comfortable. But time and time again, it will only backfire.

Being out of alignment and not being authentic is a fake feeling, and that ends up feeling uncomfortable to us in the long run. Until we let go, embrace who we are, and finally find the happiness we’ve been craving.

And actually, we’re better able to help others when we embrace our gifts and do what we came here to do in life. So don’t shy away from who you are.

People will always have opinions, and you can’t possibly fit into everyone’s mold. So, stop trying to make others happy, and make yourself happy instead.

Then you’ll fully be in your power, which is where you’re most effective at helping others. So let go and let out your gifts. Shine your light, because then you’ll help the world in your own beautiful and unique way.
