When I ask animal lovers if they talk to their animals, pretty much all of them say “of course”. But, do they understand what you’re trying to tell them?
There’s a way that we can communicate with them in an effective way so they get what we’re saying.
We do this by visualizing what it is that we want. REMEMBER, focus on what you actually want and NOT on what you don’t want.
So if you don’t want them to run, avoid saying “don’t run”. Instead you could say “please walk” and actually visualize them walking so they get the picture.
This is because they have a tendency to “see” what we’re talking about in pictures.
